A City on A Hill
18-21 June 2026 | Yeovil
A COVENANT PEOPLE | Marked by the Blood | Living under divine distinction | Protected and provided for
In times of great shaking, as spiritual, cultural and political ground shifts, God is not reacting but leading, with a victorious answer. The call to the Church is to follow Him fully, to be where Jesus is, and to serve the people He has placed before us.
Goshen represents a place set apart by God for His people to flourish, multiply and walk in favour. In famine, Israel was preserved there, positioned in divine protection, provision and purpose. It is a picture for this moment.
Today, the Body of Christ is called to be a city on a hill, shining in the midst of darkness and uncertainty. A people who lead with wisdom, speak truth with courage, and point to the Kingdom of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. As worship is restored to its rightful place, culture is shaped and life flows outward into society.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60)
Goshen Gathering is an opportunity to come together to worship and pray, to be equipped, and to stand alongside others who discern the times. It is a call to arise and shine, to become a Goshen people who carry His glory and embody His answer in these days.
Save the date. Tell others. Let us gather and expect great things.
For His Kingdom and glory,
Dominic and Thea Muir
PROVISION PROTECTION
PURPOSE
So Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.
- GENESIS 47:27
About the Gathering
Goshen Gathering is intentionally shaped across four days to prepare, align and mobilise the Church for the days ahead.
Thursday begins with intercession and repentance, laying a right foundation before the Lord. We will also hear the testimony of those who have gone ahead, breaking ground in preparing Goshen spaces and living this out in practice.
Friday focuses on transformation. We will address coming out of limitation, breaking old mindsets, and stepping into the new wineskin God is forming for His victorious Church.
Saturday is deeply practical. We will equip and resource you for real-world application, including navigating politics, engaging culture, and stepping into areas such as farming, evangelism and Christian activism for such a time as this.
Sunday will conclude with commissioning and a vital Q&A session, sending people out with clarity, conviction and courage.
Breakout sessions
Breakouts will be a key part of the gathering, including focused streams on:
PREPARING THE BRIDE
Bobbi Kumari will lead a session on cultivating extra oil, loving, serving and preparing the Bride of Christ for her Bridegroom’s return in these turbulent times, that she may be found faithful, pure and devoted to Him.
evangelism, Protest & Activism
Virginnia Logan and Navaid Syed (Christian Legal Centre) will call the Church into bold “standing” and Christian cultural and political push back. They will unpack laws concerning free speech, freedom of conscience, freedom to gather as well as the Church’s historic role in protesting and speaking truth to power.
The New Monastic & Farming
Rev. Chris and Tracey Wickland with Matt and Sally Timms will lead discussions on spiritual communities & settlements, faith-based living, self-sufficiency, cultivating rhythms of creation and liturgy, healthy independence from the State in both countryside and city and raising children in the antichrist context.
apostolic doctrine & politIcs
In a day when much of the Church is being politicised by the spirit of the age, Bishop Dewar and Dr. Aaron Edwards will lead a discussion on how the Church returns to the full counsel of God whilst boldly moving into the cultural and political space as salt, light - faithful shepherds and spiritual fathers.
Bread Cafe & market place ministry
Dominic & Thea Muir, and Joel Baker will lead a session on occupying the broken high streets and training the Body of Christ in market place ministry.
Intercessory fire
How do we become a mature, praying Bride in this hour? Dr Jonathan Oleyede (Founder, National Day of Prayer and Worship) will lead a discussion on the vital call to the altar of intercession and the need for 24/7 interceding communities.
We understand that with such a needful and mouth-watering line-up, choosing which breakout will be hard. Worry not, Goshen delegates will be able to access all the sessions after the event in their own time.
Each morning will begin with targeted corporate intercession from 8:30am, setting the direction for the day.
The gathering is anchored in Genesis 47:27:
“So Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.”
